Supplement workspace

Roofing insurance supplement review

Hail Pro's supplement workspace compares an insurance carrier's roof estimate against the roof measurement report and your field evidence. It extracts quantities from the documents, highlights variances and commonly missed line items, and keeps a person in control of what goes into the final supplement package sent back to the carrier.

What is a roofing insurance supplement?

A supplement is a request to the insurance carrier to add items or quantities that the adjuster's original estimate missed or underpaid, such as starter strip, drip edge, ice and water shield, steep or high roof charges, code-required upgrades, or a waste factor that does not match the roof's geometry. Read the full explanation in roofing insurance supplements explained.

How does Hail Pro help with supplements?

  1. Extract. Upload the carrier estimate and the roof report; Hail Pro reads quantities and line items from both.
  2. Verify. It flags differences (for example, measured squares vs. paid squares) and links each one to the source page so a reviewer can check it.
  3. Package. A reviewer accepts or rejects each item, attaches photo evidence, and exports the supplement audit.
